Merry Christmas!
Christmas was nice this year. Lance, Gail, and kids came from Ridgecrest to spend a few days and Christmas with us. On Christmas Eve we went out to eat with some friends of ours. We were going to go ice skating and visit the downtown area but they were shutting everything down so we came home, got into jammies, and watched movies. Christmas Day was funny. The twins loved opening presents, although I don't think they really understood what was going on. But they sure knew it was fun! We had to take each present from them after they opened it so they would keep going. Paper and bows were big hits. Lots of clothes, toys, and books. They got a Dressy Bessy and Dapper Dan from Dan and I along with some other stuff like cars and Little People and books. They also got their first Mega Blocks, some VTech toys, Leapfrog toys, My First Tea Party, My First Tool Box, and a bunch of board books. Time to rotate out all the baby toys and make room for new! Amber and Zach opened their Christmas presents here too. They got new laptops and a bunch of other stuff. Gail and I made a Christmas lunch and then we relaxed the rest of the day. The kids (big and small!) all had fun playing with new toys.
